August 9th and 10th

Bowerbank Days 2024 is just around the corner! This two-day celebration is packed with exciting events for everyone to enjoy. On Friday, August 9th, there will be a Chili Cook-Off,
a concert by Doc & The Diva, food trucks,
and an
auction.
Saturday morning starts with the Gary Wakeland Memorial 5K race at 8 am (register at 7:00 am.) followed by a parade at 10:00 a.m. The rest of the day will feature live music by Northern Gray Band,
food trucks
craft vendors, historical displays at the library, children's games, and a Civil War encampment.
Kids will be able to make their own camp sign with wood, paint, and the instructions provided. A Bounce House
will also be a fun activity for children.
Adults can take part in ax-throwing contests,
couples’ egg and spoon race and more. Each camp road is encouraged to dress up the end of their camp road with a prize for the best job.
